SpaceX says Starship Flight 14 is preparing to launch as soon as Tuesday 22 September 2026 (pending regulatory approval), with a launch window opening at 7:15 a.m. CT. Company materials describe it as the first Starship flight planned to send the vehicle into orbit around Earth — previous tests flew intentionally safer suborbital paths — and the first planned deployment of 26 Starlink V3 satellites. Those V3 birds are framed as a step-change in constellation capacity: SpaceX says each adds about 1 Tbps, for roughly 26 Tbps on this mission alone, described as around ten times the capacity of a single Falcon 9 launch of V2 mini Starlinks.
